This month we are focusing on being Thankful and ways to show Kindness towards others. To help with this we have crated a Thankful Tree where the leaves are handwritten notes of what we are thankful for.
So to help spread this mindset we started our tree on our Family Diner night so our friends could join with us. I was very happy with how engaged everyone was and the time and thought they put into their leaves.

Today we saw a huge stack of cardboard boxes at our neighbors so A went and nicely (manners) asked if we could play with them. They said yes & so we worked on carrying them (gross motor) over to our porch.
A started arranging them so I asked what did she want make. She decided on a castle looking at some pictures on the phone. (decision making) So with most of it being her ideas we arranged the boxes and added tape. Then she decided it needed a bridge so we added it along with a rubberband and some sticks so the bridge could stay closed. (Imagination, problem solving).
Later we brought out markers so A & S could decorate it. Later K came over and he enjoyed the castle. They even found alternative ways to play with it and the slide. (working together) .
