Today is brought to you by Room On The Broom, by Julia Donaldson. I found this set of printablesand was excited to try it.
So we found our book, grabbed all of our characters & the witches props & were ready to go! (Note: I love that both A & S are not even phased with the fact that everything is not exact to the story.)
So as S & I read the book, he acted it out with the characters. A heard this and came up to investigate what was really going on.
After a break, next we did some of the papers that went along with the book. A had a chance to practice fine motor skills with her scissor cutting. (This is a favorite activity of hers.) There was letter recognition, story sequencing, gluing, matching, writing, & coloring.
This was a fun way for both A & S to interact more with a book they like!
